THERE'S ENTREPRENEURS AND THERE'S 'THE' ENTREPRENEUR.

We got a chance to speak to Arthur Norman Jr who not only understands the grind but lives it. From being a Mentor to many youth in his community to being a fashion alliance professor, Arthur displays to his community how the actions of one can inspire others to do the same. Dipped Custom Prints is a screen printing solution company that helps brands bring their projects to life.

Recently collaborating with Dipped Custom Prints we understood why the company's name and reputation stood strong. (you can find the collaboration project on IG: @groundtenpro) Arthur provided an amazing experience and executed the project down to the last detail. Wanting to know more of the mind behind the business we asked him a few questions

Q: When was the business first started?

A: Dipped originated in my partner, DeAngelo Simley’s, garage around 2015. I joined in 2018 and we gained our LLC in 2020.

Q: What were a few mistakes you learned from that helped grow the business?

A: I learned to take personal time to rest, reflect and reset. I literally can work non-stop and keep going. But the toll it took on me and my relationships led me to shift and work on having more balance.

Q: What path in life pushed you towards being an entrepreneur?

A: It’s always been around me. I come from business owners and entrepreneurs. My great-grandfather had a farm, and my uncles have large trucking & demolition companies. My dad does real estate and my mom has run an early learning center for the last 15 years. I’ve had the opportunity to see how businesses are built and developed my entire life. I don’t know anything else.

Don’t stop. Adjust and keep going. Moving doesn’t always look straight in front of you  Sometimes it’s a side step and sometimes it’s two steps back, but you never stop. If you keep moving, there is hope for a door to open, a new relationship to start, and an opportunity to surface.

Q: How do you see yourself and your business helping the communities around you?

A: I see everything that I do as an educational opportunity. I am a bridge, connecting people to quality spaces and resources. Dipped Custom Prints is a platform for anyone to create, learn skills, build community, and grow.

Q: What are some of the core values of your business?

A: Family, relationships, & consistency. And I am saying yes to every opportunity.

We want to thank Arthur for his time, efforts, and outreach to show you all that the dreams you are "thinking" of chasing can only come true once you use your determination and passion for a bigger purpose.
